Strategies for Coping with Anxiety
1. Unplug- Take a break from social media. Listen to music, journal, read a book, go for a walk.
2. Gratitude- While you may feel unsettled right now, there is also plenty to be thankful for. Whenever you sense anxiety coming in, try to counter it with 3 things that you are thankful for.
3. Focus On What I Can Control- Look at small things in your day that are in your control...try and let the other things go!
4. Keep Things As Routine As Possible- It is helpful to try to stick to normal routines as much as possible. Hanging on to as much normalcy as possible can do wonders.
